BEIJING, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Just in time, Chinese film-goers will be able to see a Russian football drama as they enjoy the World Cup this summer.

"Coach," directed by Danila Kozlovsky, who also plays the lead, is scheduled to be shown across Chinese cinemas starting June 29. It is about a star striker who quits the field after a serious mistake but rediscovers his passion, faith and talent in the sport as the coach of a low-key small town team.

Kozlovsky, 33, is a celebrated Russian actor who has had roles in films such as "Legend No.17," "Viking," "Matilda" and "Back in time."
