TOKYO, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks advanced moderately Monday morning with buying supported by robust domestic earnings and underpinned by a solid lead from Wall Street late last week.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average added 54.89 points, or 0.24 percent, from Friday to 22,813.37.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, gained 5.74 points, or 0.32 percent, to 1,800.70.

Real estate, warehousing and harbor transportation service, and chemical issues comprised those that gained the most by the morning break.
