JAKARTA, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese women team will play against an Indonesian opponent in the second qualification event of the Badminton Asia Team Championships tournament on Thursday.

Indonesia and China are in Group Z in the qualification event held at the Sultan Abdul Halim sport stadium in Alor Setar, Malaysia.

"Tomorrow (Wednesday) the women's team will be practicing because it is impossible to totally take a rest," manager of Indonesian team Susi Susanti said.

Earlier, the Indonesian women's team impressively defeated Singapore 5-0.

The Badminton Asia Team Championships kicked off on Tuesday and will end on February 11 and is organized by the Badminton Asia Confederation.

This tournament also serves as the Asian qualification for the Uber Cup.
